So I'm having an issue on my end and was wondering if anyone else has dealt with a similar problem. I just left town to go out to the lake, hopped across the stream, and am trying to catch a ride back with Penny. The problem is that once we take off and the screen fades to black, nothing happens. The music is still there but it doesn't proceed any further. Everything else seems to work fine. Any help would be appreciated.
I'm having the same bug on my end. It also occurs if you attempt to start Dustin's movie instead of talking to Penny, and if you attempt to view a movie or story from the gallery using the unlock code. Fade-to-black, then hang.
Yeah so I'm pretty sure the issue is with my/your machine. I ran it on a laptop and it worked fine. Could be a graphics driver thing, but I don't think so since I just updated them. Maybe a compatibility issue, but I did try playing around with those settings, so I'm just not sure.

I really love this concept but being French, I had a little trouble on some quests to understand the objective. If one day the game is released on Steam, will a potential patch for the French language be available? If so, I would buy your game and all its sequels, lol!

I have same question as you. I finish all the gossips and quests. I have the sweater, but can't start a new quest(it may be the end of the act 2 ), also I can't beat Dustin minigame with 0 hit, story 18 is still unlock now.
One question, i always get Mabel and the bird( i think its penny but im not sure) in a date, but i cant interact with them, whats do i do to interact with them?
When I was doing Dustin's Dodge Challenge minigame and he did his final attack he was just suck there and i could move but i could not finish his game!
ive noticed that a lot of things keep repeating themselves, like when i repeat the same gossips it would say new logs are unlocked even tho they arent, and when i go back to the plant then it would say quest compleat even tho i already did it, it seams to happen whenever i close then re open the game
The update is nice (Aside from the optmization, but I heard you're already working on it), just missed the option to play as a female character too, but this means every story/animation have to be a female counterpart and also dialogues, and probably that's one of the reason the game don't have this option (Or it never had to be)
I managed to find every scene except the 12th one. I already beat Dustin's challenge, but I did notice that Penny and Mabel will show up at the date table once in a while, however it doesn't give me a prompt to speak to them at all. Am I supposed to talk to them for the scene or is there something else I need to do?
When i open the game on my pc there are just leafs and not even a single thing.
Idk why is it like this, i tried to delete and download again but didn't work. But i can still hear the sound of choosing start,gallery and settings i once opened the game without seeing the menu but there were no texts. (Using windows 10, 64 bit)
This is a shader issue, and I'm not sure how to fix it. You could try updating your graphics drivers or playing the game on a different device. In a Windows 10, 64 bit desktop build it's most likely going to be an incompatibility with your video card or graphics driver version. (Win10 64 bit is generally our most stable & compatible build!)
You may also have some luck running the WebGL build in a web browser or downloading it to play locally. Unfortunately WebGL is a little sluggish and doesn't have save support.
The missing movie comes from gossiping with Oliver and Bucky and then catching them on a date! (They have to get on the same page about Ollie breaking the bridge)
The missing story comes from beating the Dustin minigame Novice mode with zero hits!
Having played through basically everything the public demo has to offer (only like.. 2 scenes were missing and I got through all the actual content)
Writing was amazing anywhere from wholesome to hilarious to hot
Artstyle is absolutely gorgeous.
But... Optimization was a mess. I don't have a beefy PC, but a 2d pixel art porn game should not be lagging like it did on my system. Granted I don't know if this was the game or my hardware but it's decent enough that this game should be able to run and not completely chug on it. Luckily this issue never really came up as an actual issue (aside from the nut dodging game) but it bogged the experience down both in terms of the gameplay and even the animated lewds feeling stuttery.
Ok this may be a stupid question since the act 2 just released, but when is act 3 coming out? Is it going to be a few months, a year, maybe even more? I've played this game for the first time when act 1 just got released and after more then a year later it was totally worth waiting for act 2, it just overcame my expectations by how good it was so i just wondered when will be the approximate release date for the next act.
We have approximately half of Act 3 written and many of the art assets already done! The game needs serious optimization and some code updates which will definitely take some time. Ideally it'll take less than a year to get to the Act 3 public release since Act 3 is more of a content push than the prior two acts.
Act 2 took extra long because we had more "requirements discovery" as we fleshed out Act 1 designs and gameplay mechanics. We added all kinds of new stuff like critter dates, illustrated stories and critter gifts to give players a richer experience in the Forest. There are several new minigames to design, but we mostly have the tools in place now to tell the story we want to tell. :}
that's encouraging to hear. the game to me is one of those hidden gems. everything is just great and i really want to support its development but unfortunately, with the amount of games out there that, if you look at the bottom line, they're just cash grabs, always stalling and barely anything new comes out (with very few exceptions where even if they do that, i still wanna throw my cash at them).
anyway, i wish you all the luck and health you need and hope you can reach your goals. i can't wait to be paying for this game.
in the first act there is the stone home with an entrance that says its almost too small for Red, in the 2nd act theres the coyotes home that says its a tight squeeze. Stop teasing! Red is gonna get stuck in act 3 or at some point and its gonna be a kinky stuck and fuck, calling it!
Maybe lower the requirement from a perfect minigame run to one that allows 1 hit? I can NOT get the timing of the first half-court strike down and I get the feeling the mini game is only going to get harder. Especially since I can't quickly reload my attempt to try again.
But still got a bug to report when I use windows version
When you meet the fish, after the dialogue your screen will stuck in the same place, but you still can move and talk to the npc, and if you do so, your screen will jump to where the npc are, but after the dialogue it will be like what I mention before, you will stuck at there, though after you leave the map the problem will be gone.

So far I have completed the Story, have all the movies and 17/18 scenes.
But I have 2 questions.
1. How do I get the last scene? (the last one/furthest to the right in the gallery)
I have been going back and forth between areas hoping for a new date, but after 30 minutes of this I gave up on that. I thought maybe I have to finish the novice training, so I did that (with 2 hits taken)
Did I miss something? Do I have to do it with 0 hits?
2. I bought the Jar thinking it will probably be usefull later, but so far I haven't found a use for it. Is this for the next version or did I miss something?
Also a lil bit of feedback, for the training game it might be usefull to have a "try again?" button as otherwise one has to click through quite a bit of conversation to give it another shot. (With someone as unskilled as me it took many many tries to just get it at all.)
Edit: tried loading a previous chapter and seeing if I said something wrong at some point. Turns out that also cleans out my gallery ;w;

Yeah, for the 18th scene you need to beat the novice level of the dodgeball without being hit once. Took me a while but it was pretty fun and the scene is quite nice.

I also haven't found a use for the jar unfortunately, maybe it's just there to fill up the store for now?
Based on a Carrot picture I've seen before, it's likely the jar is used for the fireflies you see around the village, to be used in the dark forest in order to find some secret path. But since I can't get passed the effing plant stage anymore because SUDDENLY the spacebar mashing decided to stop working, I can't confirm that.
I had so much fun with the update! The characters are absolutely adorable and lovely written. There are far too many things I would love to see being added in the future and I imagine you have planned a couple more. So keep it up! =D
The only minor struggle I had (besides the insible wall during the sweater quest) was Dustin's Minigame: You always have to start with the Pratice Round, if you fail during the Novice Level, which is an inconvenience (desktop version). But I love the minigame itself (and Dustin) <3
Glad you enjoyed it! :}} That sounds like some kind of bug. Once you beat the practice round (I think it's 4 hits or less?) Dustin should ask you whether you want to do Novice or Practice every time. I'll see if I can find the problem!
Why is it taking the coyotes so long to finish the sweater?
I've been grinding dates for the past half-hour at least, waiting on them to finish, and I still can't come over to their side of the Plains. There seems to be an invisible wall. I tried restarting the game but it didn't work and I had to walk back to Oliver through the entire field because he wasn't there when I joined back.
Is the sweater not implemented and I should just stop playing here?
I think that's a soft lock. If you left the plains via Oliver after giving the coyotes the wool, you get that invisible wall. I think you're supposed to talk to Penny at the Red perch after you give the wool.
You can use the chapter select, pick the "Warm and cozy" quest, and ring the perch to call Penny, and that continues the story from there.
It's a bug! You can use chapter select (you'll have to replay gossips and dates, unfortunately) or try flying Penny back to the Plains perch from Central Forest or Lake. Looking for a fix so I can patch the game!

Anyone know how to use the Rosetta Stone that the Alligator gives you? In the inventory, it says you can use it to decipher glyphs?

When I go to the plant, it fucks you in the ass but somewhere one of the critters mentions you can fuck the plant but how do I do that?
I don't think you can do that. if it is possible it is so secret that there is no slot for it in the gallery.
